Procedure for Healthy Hambuger

Procedure Writing!!  

Martin the Alien has arrived on Earth and he wants to know how to make a Healthy Hamburger. Here is a procedure using the correct structure and language, to instruct Martin on how to make my favourite healthy hamburger.

Title:Healthy hamburger

Ingredients/Materials:

• Plain buns
• Cheese
• Meat patty
• Tomato sauce
• Spiced ham

Method:

1.Cut the bun in the middle with a bread knife.

2.Place the meat patties into a pan and then on to the stove.

3.Turn on the stove and put the timer on for 10 mins.

4.Slowly flip the patty and wait another 10 mins.

5.Flick the tomato sauce can open.

6.Place the now cooked patty on the bottom bun.

7.Cut the long piece of spiced ham and plop it on top of the patty.

8.Pour the tomato sauce on the spiced ham.

9.Plop the cheese onto the tomato sauce.

10.Taste, eat and Enjoy

JUMP ROPE

Ring! The bell went for snack. We all ran out to get our

lunchboxes then ran to sit down. “Yum yum yum” I said

eating a Tim tam ring. We put our lunchboxes and ran to the court. “OK,” said one of the teachers time for jump rope. My favorite station was freestyle because I like jumping by myself. Then came the jump off. Five classes went before us. Finally “Room 9,” a teacher called, “time to get on.” We all ran on and grabbed a rope and started jumping. Lots of people stopped and sat down before us but I kept going. Then I hit my toe on the ground and had to sit down.

Adverbs

I have been learning how to use adverbs as sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

1. Carefully she unwrapped her birthday present.

My Holiday

“Yes Yes Yes” I shouted when mum asked if my cousin Jack and I wanted to go to a fun place in Rotorua. We jumped in the car and threw our bags in the back. We buckled our seatbelts and drove away. When we got there it was raining. We looked at all the rides and they were still going.The first ride we went on was called shweeb. The shweeb was like a bike but in an oval. Jack and I had to race each other. First we got pulled back and then pushed and we pedaled very fast. In the end Jack won.:(

The second thing we did was called Swoop. In swoop you hop in bags and then you get lifted up in the air very, very high. Jack had to pull a rope that would unlock something and let us go. Suddenly he pulled it and we swooped down. It looked like we would hit the ground below.But we didn't. 

The third ride we did was a speed boat. The guy driving the speed boat jumped over obstacles.The guy driving was smiling the whole way but it was hard to smile because it was raining and we were going fast. The rain hurt us. BUT I had lots of fun!

The autumn leaves fall like confetti at a birthday party. 

The yellow and orange  leaves look like a fluffy colourful quilt.

The trees with their colorful leaves look like maori patterns.

The orange leaves look like the afternoon sun.

The evergreen trees stand out like bright green shoes on a rugby field.

The red autumn leaves look like they have been painted.

Hunted

One dark night in the middle of a forest a jungle boy was roaming. Suddenly he felt hungry and smelt some food. He felt something in his belly so he looked down and his belly was rumbling. He sniffed the air and the smell was still there. He went wondering around and over big boxes to find the food. Suddenly he saw the food which was a cooked chicken.  He ran to the chicken but the floor under him was a trap he fell through the trap and found himself face to face with a hunter. The hunter blinded him and when he could see again he was  upside down the hunter walked over to him and bit the last piece of meat of the bone he said it would be the jungle boys lucky day. But the jungle boY did not think that it was his lucky day so he broke the bone it was a wishbone when he broke it realized that it could help him to unlock the padlock but he had to wait till the hunter was occupied suddenly the hunter got a call from his friend asking him if he’d got the jungle boy
the hunter said yes and that he would meet the queen.Sudenly the hunter heard something the boy had escaped the hunter got very angry.He saw the boy as he jumped out of his tent.  Both of them started running  the boy got to thew hole that he fell through he saw the camera that blinded him and dived for it the hunter got him and made him angry so the jungle boy blinded the hunter and started running the jungle boy ran through a cage and the huter banged into it when the hunter woke up he was op high and the jungle boy was holding the cage and the hunter heard music and looked down and saw so many jungle boys.

My First Narrative

Volcano Island

“How much longer do we have to be on this ship?” asked Dana. “Until we find an island to stay on,” pronounced Kirsten. Just then the ship hit something. Bang! I looked down and saw a beautiful island. ”Now we can get out of the ship,” confirmed Kirsten. But just as the girls pushed down the ladder the ship fell apart.

What a lovely island, lots of leaves covered the ground and the trees had pink flowers on them. “How are we going to leave?” asked Dana. Kirsten ignored her as she loved the island and didn’t care if they stayed here. ”Let’s go build a shelter because it’s getting dark,” pronounced Kirsten. “But we do not know what kind of dangers are out there, ”said Dana in a scared voice. “Well if we hurry up maybe we will make it before it gets dark,” Kirsten exclaimed as she headed off. The girls made two beds and a shelter. When they woke up Kirsten felt something on her leg so she picked it up. “Ahhhhh” It was a baby butter snake. Dana came rushing into the wooden tent. ”What's wrong!” yelled Dana “A butter snake was on my leg!” screamed Kirsten. “Wait, what's that sound” asked Dana. “Sounds like a volcano is erupting” pronounced Kirsten. The girls rushed outside, a volcano, that they did not see before, was erupting. “The lava is making it’s way down” screamed Dana. “I’ll cook some food and you go gather wood” said Kirsten. “Ok but how does this help us get away from the lava?” replied Dana. “You will see,” said Kirsten.

As both girls worked away the lava got closer and closer to them. Suddenly Kirsten said “Ok we need to build a raft.” “Ohhhh now I get it,” pronounced Dana. The girls worked as the lava was getting closer. The lava was only three feet away from them. “We need to jump in with the food and sail away, fast,” screamed Kirsten. The two girls got home safely and were ready for another adventure.
