This is the writing that I worked on throughout the week about an Easter egg hunt at my Grandma's. I used onomatopoeia. I hope you enjoy it.
Easter Egg Hunt
“Rumble Rumble” Our car pulled up into my Grandma's driveway. Today was the Easter egg hunt at Grandma’s. I am so excited I could already taste the chocolate in my mouth.
I jumped out of the car and started to ask when the Easter egg hunt was starting.
“OK go outside” yelled Grandma. Me and my cousin ran outside, “3, 2, 1, GO!!” yelled Grandma.
Me and my cousin ran all over the place looking high and low. "Got one", I yelled and started wiggling the little bag full of chocolates in his face. After a bit more egg finds my cousin and I split the bags of chocolate so that we both got an equal amount. As I jumped back into the car I remembered all the Easter egg hunts that we have done over the years and admitted that this one was truly the best yet.
