This week we have been working on metaphors and similes.
Just yesterday we had to make a short story using one simile and one metaphor.

The similarities between the Kakapo and Kiwi

This term our theme is All Creatures Great and Small.
One of our first tasks to do with this topic was to chose two animals and find their differences and similarities.
I chose the Kiwi and Kakapo.
We had to research our animals and list them on a slideshow.
Mine is very very short.

Multiplication Facts Term 2 Week 1

This week we have been practising our multiplication problems on a new work sheet.

We started on Monday and we did it to Thursday.

We are planning to continue the process.

We have 3 minutes to complete the whole thing.

This week we have been trailing how to use Storyboard-That as a digital learning tool.
We had to create a vocabulary storyboard based on the book The Anzac Puppy. I chose to create most of my images using photos from the internet, but creating the cartoon images was fun too.

This is my learning journey for 2017.
This is where we put our scores like our stage for Maths or where we are in reading.
On the learning journey is all our big information about our activities at school like reading.
My reading level is 12 to 13 years.
My maths stage is 6.
I think I will get better at my maths,and I am already quite good at reading, but will improve so I understand every book!
