Zoofari

Kia ora
This week we went on a Zoofari at Auckland zoo. We stayed the night in the old elephant house that the elephants Burma and Kashin used to live in. This is a photo of our group eating our delicious sausages and salads that the zoo keepers made for us.

 I'm working on an animal report about spider monkeys. When we saw one it was smaller than I expected and the greeny-yellow fur was much brighter. I absolutely loved the Zoo and would love to go again.

Kia ora This week we have been doing animals reports. I chose the armadillo because they are very intersting creatures.

Basic facts by Term 2017

Kia ora,
These are my scores for my basic facts that are done every term.
I think I did really well. I  got 8/10 in groupings within 100.
I got 10/10 in hundreds adding to 1000s.
I got another 10/10 in addition facts to 20.
An 8/10 in subtraction facts to 20. A 11/11 in multiplication facts (2,5,10).
I got 5/10 in division facts (2,5,10s).

Learning Journey T2

Last term I used the color blue and now for this term I am using the colour yellow. I have improved in my Reading an writing, I am at the writing stage 3a which is where year 6's have to be at the end of the year.

Getting ready for a fun Friday!!!

Kia ora, Fun Friday is a really fun Friday (Of course) where we play / make lots of games.
Our thing is SHOOT THE CUP!!!!!.
My group is Depla, Antonio, Leana, Quintin and Myself.
6 people can shoot the cups at a time!
It's really fun!!

Animal fun day

Kia ora.
Today we had an animal onesie day because we are fundraising for the year one and two zoo trip.
I dressed up as a Giraffe our group had 6 Giraffes in it.
Giraffes are mammals.
Giraffes are part of the llama family.
I'm the one in front of the pink Giraffe.
