Chinese fishbone diagram

Kia ora
This is an activity we did when we were learning about animals that live in China. We started studying China last week because it was Chinese language week and we have a student in our room who is half Chinese.
Something I think I have done well  is describing the colour, but
next time I think I could improve on the classification box.

Dear Piper’s Lodge

I am writing to thank you very much for looking after us so well during our stay last week I loved your food.

I really enjoyed the whole week because your beds were comfy, your bathrooms were clean and fresh and your meals were delicious. My favourite meal was the fish and chips.

I hope I can come and stay at Piper’s Lodge again, one day.

Yours sincerely

The Ski Trip

Kia ora
This is an activity we did when we were writing about how we felt about skiing.
Something I think I have done well  is sharing my feelings.
Next time I think I could improve my layout as my teacher had to show me how to set my sentences out a bit better.

The Ski Trip

At last everything my mum had taught me about skiing was about to pay off. But.....I still had a few things to learn like how to turn and so on.

After a few fails I finally knew how to ski and after a few hours I was flying down the slopes in a fuzzy blur. It was glorious.

My Thank you Letter

Something I think I have done well  is thinking up some good things to say but
next time I think I could improve my punctuation because my teacher had to give me three tips about mistakes.

Dear Mum

I am writing to thank you very much for letting me go on the ski trip last week.

I really enjoyed the whole week. The skiing was amazing and so was rock climbing.

My favorite part was when I learned how to turn on skis.

I would really love to go skiing on a mountain again.

Love from

Kirsten
